The house sits deep on a rocky site once occupied by a lime kiln at the border of a large agricultural terrain. On one side, facing the village, and on the other, opening onto the steep valley below. The T-shaped plan allows the disposition of the spaces to be in a way where the reception areas are looking out onto the openness of the horizon while the inhabitant’s rooms are facing the enclosure of the valley. The house is inscribed into the site between two rocks; the first, on the southern side, delimits the domestic space of the kitchen. The other, on the northern side, creates a stabilizing foreground to the horizon.
