In partnership with Claude Montfort and Richard Peduzzi. The project is situated in Beirut's city centre, and borders the old coastline limit, which now faces a reclaimed landfill at the northern edge of the new Beirut Souks. The project follows the footprint, structural grid, and envelope of the old stock exchange building that previously occupied part of the site. An atrium, around which the circulation is organized, distributes the rooms of the seven-story hotel. The roof terrace, housing a restaurant and pool, opens onto the view of the port and the mountains to the East, and the chaotic urban background of the Serail Hill to the south.
